(A Level)

Students on our design technology course learn key skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials to produce functional and aesthetically pleasing products. You will learn about everyday objects and the technology used to produce them, developing your own individual design and make project – this gives you the opportunity to show off your abilities to meet a brief in an imaginative manner, researching the issue, proposing ideas and manufacturing solutions to a high quality. An exciting and creative course, design technology can support students who are aspiring to careers in architecture, product design, industrial design and engineering. 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• GCSE at grade 5 or above in a relevant subject (product design or engineering).
