Religious studies is beneficial to those who want to debate and discuss religious issues from a variety of perspectives, including non-religious viewpoints. You will develop your knowledge about the philosophy of religion and debate the existence of God, look at the impact of religion around the world, how the ethics of religion affect society, and how religious thought has developed and changed throughout history.
The skills gained are valuable for a range or careers and further education courses including clergy, teaching, politics, law, medicine and social services.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- GCSEs at grade 5 in religious studies, or philosophy and / or ethics.
If you have not studied religious studies, you will need a grade 5 in English.
